These cookies have been around my family for years.Kids and adults love them.They have a great molasses taste and it is very hard to eat just one.

This tasty bread is reminiscent of the 1950s open-faced sandwich favorite made by covering split hamburger buns with canned comed beef, cheese slicesand a dollop of barbecue sauce, then heating them in the oven.

So easy to make, and it is amazingly delicious, a beautiful way to cook these two root vegetables together, and tons of flavor.
