Lovely mingle of flavours. I toasted the walnets. Used dried tarragon but soaked in the oils w/orgainc cider vinegar in advance. Oh yeah and added 1 clove of finely minced garlic. A big hit with or without the garlic. High class side dish using the fresh beans from my local country road farmer.
A tasty accompaniment to a French dinner!
Tender crisp green beans tossed in a simple Asian dressing.
Make this simple and tasty tilapia dish for a quick dinner with some lemony green beans and toasted walnuts aside.
The original version that inspired this recipe was incredibly rich using whipping cream for the cream sauce and delivering a whopping 16 grams of saturated fat per serving. 85% of the calories came from fat! This version has only 4 grams of saturated fat and cuts the calorie count from 269 to 121, is still delicious and rich tasting.
Shiitake mushrooms, tofu and potatoes are like sponge that soak all the great flavor from the miso stew. Green beans add bright color and nice crisp, and the glass noodles give a bit chewiness and some healthy calories that are good for you.
Green Beans tossed with Shallots, Tomatoes and Mushrooms. An easy side for nearly any main dish.
Quick, easy and tasty. Fresh lemon zest and juice add lots of refreshness, a few garlic cloves give the fragrance, and the toasted almonds bring some nutty taste and another layer of the crunch texture. Serve it with any main course.
This recipe is inspired by parmesan roasted potato and roasted green beans recipes we made last week. Then we came out this idea, and it definitely worked out. Roasting gives the green beans both great flavor and texture, parmesan, paprika and fresh herbs add tons of yumminess. A versatile recipe that can go well with any kind of main dish!
Quick, easy and tasty. A great way to make green beans into a delicious side dish.
This is a great cold salad. The basil and cherry tomatoes marry perfectly with a high-quality sweet balsamic vinegar along with tender-crisp green and yellow wax beans.
I did prefer a tenderer texture, so I steamed green beans for a few minutes, then cooked in the pan with all the spices. Still had great flavour and tender-crisp texture.
Love frittata for breakfast, lunch or sometimes dinner. It's so versatile to make, and it never lets me down :) The combination in this frittata is delicious, you can substitute other vegetables you have on hand, and it will be still very tasty.
This is a nice change of pace for green beans, with an interesting, complex flavor. I steamed the beans instead of boiling to retain more of the nutrients. Lightly toasting the almonds boosted the nutty flavor.
Red onions are cooked with balsamic vineger, brown sugar, vegetable broth, turn out very tasty, adding into the lightly boiled green beans, it is a wonderful side dish.
